User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars good product for the price
I just got the life gear lifelight and I must say it’s pretty neat. Not the highest quality but good enough to get the job done. I don’t know if it’s rugged enough to throw in a backpack and hit the trail but for home emergencies it’s great. AM/FM radio for when the power goes out and a decent light also. I would recommend.

5 Stars Lanterns Have Come a Long Way
This Is the lantern to get If your looking for light when the power goes out just to play cards by, or for seeing In pitch black to find your way to and use the Bathroom. I had a really good flashlight that just didn’t make It for anything but walking. When this light came I thought how small It looked and probably was not going to do the job. Boy was I wrong.

The best thing also Is the hand crank In case you run out of batteries. Makes this Invaluable. And for $16.95 this Is such a deal. No It may not be made for rain or rugged outdoor weather, but that would cost a lot more and Is all unnecessary. The radio Is not the greatest but Is just a secondary feature for this kind of money. I keep a walkman charged.

But If the power Is out for an extended time the radio will come In handy.

It’s so bright for so small. Wonderful Item.

More bonus features of being able to charge your cell etc. REALLY make this the Home lantern to get for emergencies!

5 Stars Impressive!
I was so impressed with other LifeGear products, I thought I’d try this one out for a recent camping trip I went on. The great part about it is it doesn’t need batteries, just wind the crank on the back for a couple minutes and you generate hours of light! Another cool thing about it is the built-in radio. You can even plug your iPod into it and the sound is pretty good. I like it much better than the traditional camping lanterns because you don’t have to worry about remembering propane tanks or batteries.

5 Stars Great Product!
Bought this product recently to take with me on camping trips. Overall, I am very satisfied with the brightness of the LED lights. On a recent trip to Joshua Tree, we used the LifeLight (in lantern mode) to illuminate our whole cooking setup. It’s also good to know there are emergency flashers and a siren just in case anything goes wrong in the wilderness. I have relied only on AAA batteries to power the product to this point, although I did give the crank a try at home and it stayed lit for about 35 minutes or so.

I would definitely recommend this product!

5 Stars Great lantern
This lantern is very handy. Its bright and the radio reception seems to be pretty good. I was thinking of keeping one in my car for an emergency since I often forget to check my flashlight batteries.
